Waynetown - Mrs. Minnie Grace Suiters, 84, died at 12: 10 p.m. Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Oveta Bell, at Hillsboro after a year's illness of a heart ailment and complications. Born Nov. 18, 1872 in Taylor County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Joseph B. and Emma Sullivan Rivers. She married Ed D. Suiters June 13, 1897 near The Shades. He preceded her in death April 17, 1941. For 45 years Mrs. Suiters was an active member of the Waynetown Baptist Church and also took part in activities of its Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Woman's Bible Class. Receiving her early education in Kentucky, she came to Indiana with her family when she was 17 and attended the State Normal College then located at Danville. Mrs. Suiters was considered an exceptional seamstress. She lived in this community until failing health took her to her daughter's. Survivor's include three daughters, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Maurine Groom of Princetown, N. J., and Mrs. Clara Grimes, 211 W. Chestnut Street, Crawfordsville; two sons, Floyd of Rt. 2 Waynetown and Everette of 1002 Fairveiw Ave., Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Smith of Waynetown and Mrs. Mason Keller of Ladoga; one brother, Joseph Rivers of Darlington, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown, Rev. William L. Clark officiating, and burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home here after 2 p.m. Tuesday. kbz
